Mariana Eidler
Food designer
She is a food designer who works around food as an agent of change and its relationship with gastronomy, industry and design. She holds a PhD in Food Design from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon (FAUL), a Master in Pedagogy from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), an Identity Master from Parsons School of Design in New York, and a Master in Communication from ELISAVA.
Graduated in Design at ELISAVA and in Fine Arts at the University of Barcelona (UB), she is co-founder of the organisation Food Design for Opportunities, Research and Knowledge (FORK), worked in New York with Milton Glaser and founded in Barcelona@ tactica.barcelona, to provide global services to the food chain.
She is also director of the Food Design Lab at ELISAVA and director of the international Study Abroad programme at the same centre.
